**Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless Type II

.32 ACP. 3.75" barrel length. 92419. (Mfc ca 1909) Blued metal finish with polished chamber mounting checkered {Rampant Colt} logo black hardrubber grips with standard low profile front blade and rear notch sights. Simple blowback operated concealed hammer autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item features a separate barrel bushing, grip safety, thumb safety catch to the left frame, and no magazine safety. Left slide marked PATENTED/APR. 20. 1897 DEC. 22. 1903 followed by two-line address COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. Right slide marked AUTOMATIC COLT/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS. Standard Colt VP monogram firing proof to the triggerguard web.

Condition
Fair. Bore is Frosty with light pitting throughout, particularly near chamber, some oxidation to grooves, and residues throughout. Metal finish is primarily a deep brown patina with traces of blue at the edges of the triggerguard and upper frame, to rear barrel, and to the dustcover on the slide. Grips show handling wear with some loss of fine details to the logos, and slight smoothing of checkering.
